Here are some of the things which absorb my time.

bulletStudying- I'm working towards a degree with the Open University and I have just completed a module called M359 Relational Databases: Theory and Practice. I found the course quite challenging and, whilst I did well in my assessments, I'm not so confident with the exam (results are out near Christmas). I am pleased that I attended study weekend with the Open University at Aston University, run by the M500 Society where the tutor was Stuart Hutchison.  I also benefit from support from OU colleagues, especially Ian Macey (Cheers Ian. I still owe you a trip to the North Pole!).
My next module (from next February) will be M450 The Computing Project. Not quite sure what the subject will be just yet - maybe something to do with my work at the FSA.

bulletFives - What a great game. I play most Tuesday nights for the Bank of England Fives Club. Our home courts are at Roehampton (South West London). If you want to know more about the game here's a link the web site of the sport's governing body.
bulletThe Rugby Fives Association
bulletTwitching - This has been a bit of a surprise! After a visit to the London Wetlands Centre in 2006, we were so impressed we joined The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.  After an Introduction to Bird Watching course Alex and I have become quite enthusiastic.

bulletWalking - with my family and dog, Zeta.  Preferably deep in the countryside and ideally in the Lake District.
